The
studio is located at 5415 Ashton Court, Sarasota, Florida.
It includes two tandem spaces with air circulation from
end to end for a total space of 2000 square feet with
24 foot ceilings. There is an air conditioned 10’
by 12’ enclosed office/break room. At the north
end of the studio there is a tented concrete slab of
17’ by 24’. The studio is equipped with
large and small moveable work tables, moveable circulation
fans, extensive tooling, built-in work benches and storage
shelving. Electric service is 110V, 250V, single phase
and 100 amps. A 75 HP Ingersoll Rand Air Compressor
supplies air to all studio areas. The outside concrete
slab area is supplied with a multi-tap air connection
and a non-potable water sink. The
studio layout can accommodate workshops, three to five
artists working at the same time, and art exhibits.
The studio has been built to encourage the creation
of art--especially 3D sculpture in clay, cement, stone,
and metal.
